Guy Lopes
Owner
Guy Lopes launched Lopes Carpentry and Associates in 2014. After several years of collaborating with high-profile Boston developers, today Guy focuses on custom home builds, renovations, and historic restorations throughout the North Shore. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Rhea Brown
Construction Administrator
Rhea Brown has been with Lopes Carpentry and Associates since 2015. In her current position as Construction Administrator, Rhea manages contracts, coordinates project schedules and budgets, and promotes seamless communication across teams. With prior experience at an architectural firm and a solid foundation in hands-on construction knowledge, she brings insight and coordination to every project.
Outside of work, you’ll find her with a book in hand or enjoying the outdoors—boating, skiing with family, or her favorite activity, relaxing on the beach.
Susannah Thompson
Office Manager
Susannah manages the office at Lopes Carpentry, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and all needs are met promptly and with a smile. She also dabbles in Marketing, putting to use some of the skills she honed over 10 years in the wine industry in Berlin, Germany.
Susannah majored in German Studies and graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College before moving to Berlin in 2010. She joined Lopes Carpentry in 2024. In her free time, Susannah enjoys going to the beach with her two young sons and exploring the North Shore.
Zeus
Office Dog & Chief Morale Booster
Zeus is our lovable Bernese Mountain Dog, who takes his job of boosting morale (and begging for snacks) very seriously. He keeps the team smiling with his goofy charm, well-timed naps, and unwavering dedication to snack patrol.
